Topic Paper 5, Community and Social Services, currently sets out the basis for requesting contributions for both community facilities and social care. It contains no formulaic basis for requesting contributions.
The proposed new Topic Paper for Adult Social Care sets out the principle for a formulaic approach and the method of calculating the contribution. If the proposed new Topic Paper is adopted, Topic Paper 5 will be amended to remove references to Social Care.
